This last weekend, we helped about 33 students of UMD ,
College Park with groceries that will last for next 15 days. Each
grocery bag included rice, dal, carrots, Potatoes, small spinach bag ,
tomato, onions, few chillies, 5 tea sachets and lime and ginger for
immunity. Whoever asked for we also gave a few milk bottle and yogurt
bottles on need basis for bone health. Although we cannot help them with
rental and other expenses which they paid thru campus jobs, we resolved
to help atleast their groceries.
These students lost their
campus jobs due to lockdown and are in desperate need for help . So
Whenever the VHPA van with Indian flag comes, they are very happy and
feel patriotic with India India slogans. Attached a small video of Vande
